I am now living here in the city for almost thirty years now. I left the province since i was fifteen years old. My memories there are still fresh to remember. I missed the fresh fruits and vegetables, the firefly in the night, the morning dews, breeze cold by the fresh air. I can't imagine, how the temperature woke up us to the cold morning when temperature is ten degrees Celcius lower than in the city. I will never forget those days when my father made bonfire under the mango tree in our backyard very early in the morning to warm ourselves and take the opportunity to drink coffee, chat each other and my two brothers playing playcard while my father roast something over the bonfire to eat for breakfast. Ice skate

Last week i receives discount coupon from grocery store in Mega Mall. But this is coupon are one hour discounts in ice skating. But i don't ice skates and iceskating now is transferred in Mall of Asia. When my kids were young i sends them to Megamall for ice skating. More accessible from our house than in Mall of Asia. But now they are not so much interested because they are busy in their schooling. Maybe this summer if they have time to go in Mall of Asia.

Beef burger

Yes. my kids tired of eating the same burger. They asked me to cook something different burger. Luckily, i found one from Yummy recipe book i bought in bookstore in Megamall. A version which is nutritious and delicious as well. They adore the outcome. They said it is like siopao but burger.
The ingredients for the paties are:
3/4 kilo ground beef
1/4 cup minced onions
1 cup Japanese breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoons pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons liquid seasoning
oil for frying
For filling
1 large carrot cut into small cubes
1/8 Baguio beans cut into small same size with the carrots
1 cup green peas.
1 cup grated cheese
Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients for patties in a bowl
Mix in another bowl all the vegetables and cheese. Set aside
Prepare a pattie from meat mixture , flatten and put enough vegetable mixture at the center of each pattie, gather the edges of the pattie and seal in the vegetable. Do the same for the remaining ingredients.
Fry in hot oil over low fire until meat thoroughly cooked
Serve with rice.

Stay at home mom..

As a stay at home mom, i used to be alone at home, so if i am tired blogging and doing my routines at home i used to sit down and think of so many thing. I've resigned from work since i give birth of my first born and they are now teenagers. Almost 20 years i am stocked at home. Almost twenty years no communication with my friends before. I want to work again outside my home anyway, my kids are already grown up and they are not anymore like a baby. They can now manage to prepare their meal if i am not around at home. I miss other people! I want to talk with other people! I miss the world! I miss the whole world! But my age is not fit for work anymore. That is my problem. LOL. They want fresh graduates. Sleepless nights

In our place there are adolescents who were maybe taking drugs but of course i didn't see them taking the drugs in actual but i can sense them specially when they hanged out in front of our house during night time. Two years ago when i complained to the barangay police on duty, the more they throw a bottle of beer in my house. We're lucky that debris of broken bottle didn't enter through our window. We just endure their noise hoping that they will not throw bottles anymore.

I am also wearing eyeglasses since I reach forty. I didn't expect that my eyes will get a poor vision at this age. The opthalmologist advised me to wear eyeglasses if i want to see clearly. There is no other treatment for this than eyeglasses or contact lens.

Valid ID s are very important..

At last, i got my postal ID now. I have applied for this last week, only three working days processing but i forgot to collect on the thid day. I remember only when i went to bank and they need two valid IDs but i presented my SSS ID and my expired PRC card but they rejected because my prc card is expired. I didn't dare to update or renew because i am not using this profession anymore. I didn't expect how important this PRC ID. They said i have to renew, might anytime it is needed urgently for some important transactions because this is a valid and government ID. Not all have it and they said i am lucky to have PRC ID and advised me to renew now to be always ready at all time.
I'll try to renew next time. Actually i'm just lazy going to PRC office. I hate so much of going to that area including Recto, Taft Avenue and Legarda Street. Jeepneys are not moving due to heavy traffic. Wasting time to passed by at those streets and that area is also damped with air pollution. That makes me lazy to go but i'll see if i have enough time to endure the heavy traffic and air pollution.

Hello friends. Have you ever tried testing first the stuffs or food before you buy? Last November before the Christmas, me and my son passed by the grocery store to buy some stuffs we need for the coming holidays. Inside the grocery store there were two booth installed at the left side near the entrance of the grocery. Each both represents one products for free testing. The promogirls offer the product to every customers in the grocery who passed by in that corner. but i didn't noticed the promogirls because i am focused to the stuffs written in my list that i must have to buy for home. I thought my son who was the one pushing the cart was following behind me but i just noticed no son behind me so I'll paused a while to wait for him, he might just trapped by other costumers with double carts. When he came back he's already holding a big half sliced of hotdog sandwich and telling me i can get also one from the promo girl standing at the first booth and after eating the hotdog sandwich again he went back with another small cup of juice. I don't understand how come he got the food because eating inside the grocery is prohibited. He told me that those are just only Free Samples or free taste for all customers inside the grocery so it is not prohibited to eat inside. My son looks contented, imagine he had free hotdog plus another free juice. My son looks satisfied of what he tasted not just only a taste but full snacks already and he said he's satisfied with the hotdog and recommended me the brand that i should have to buy because he said, it is tastier than the popular hotdog. He said he likes the hotdog for sandwiches and recommended that it is also good for breakfast as well specially when serve with fried rice in the morning.

I have purchased a one unit condo but i am still paying by installment. The whole building is already constructed but some part or units are still under finishing and painting. The developer will be turnover by April or May if all the units are fully ready for occupancy. This is a perfect timing because half of March until end of May is summer vacation of all students so my children will be free and help me to shop for furniture for that condominium. Furniture is not included in our contract so we have to purchased our own furnitures. Actually we have already planned that we make this unit for rental. Full volume stereo of my neighbor

I am already worried of my eardrum . it might broke by the full volume stereo of my neighbor. Yes. They turn on their stereo with Christian Songs in full volume every morning from seven 0 clock AM to ten thirty AM until the owner of the house go to her business shop and if happened that her time to go out from their house is until twelve o clock so the full volume will turn off at twelve noon until he goes off. It is so painful. I like music specially Christian songs. I feel blessed if i could hear songs for Jesus but if the musics breaks my eardrum it is totally different. Instead of appreciating them that they are Christians or religious neighbors but i felt opposite. I wish they could respect their neighbors too. Lower volume is nice.
I could not complain to them because they are very sensitive , they have business and feeling they are rich and i am poor. They are new in our vicinity. They always mention that he has a brother who is a police in Mandaluyong. It is not that i am afraid of the police but i don't want to deal to this kind of mentality. I wish someday they will have conscience before my eardrum broken because they are doing this almost a year now.

We must be always insured

There are maybe around twelve patients at the waiting area to be called by the doctor and i was sitting beside two ladies talking about one of their relative who recently met a car accident and his car was almost halfly wrecked. Maybe the man who met an accident still young because he didn't bother to renew his Motor Trade Insurance. The car was just a gift from her father because he is just only a working student. The two ladies are so much concern for their relative who slightly got bruises and contusions in some part of his body. My Sunday schedule today...

I woke up early with smiles . Although i was so in distress about my abdominal pain. Pain psychologically relieved by the call and concern of my mother in law. I also received emails from my sister who is in other country. Just her routine emails, as usual she's just only updating but I didn't tell her my health situation yet because i am still under further diagnostic investigation. I don't want her to worry about me. I had my Upper Gastro Intestinal Series yesterday. Results are not yet ready until now.
I can't make it too long because i am going to church now. I'll be alone because my kids prefers to attend the church service in the evening. I don't want to go on the evening today because i'll watch TV GMA7, for Starstruck V finale at 7 PM. My kids also have their own time now not like when they were young that we go to church together. Now.. we seldom go to church together. Our dialoged now is "What time you attend the church service?" (anong oras ka magsisimba?)
they have grown now and they can go anywhere they want without me so they won't woke up early but they will just go according to their own comfortable time.

I am scheduled for another check up this late afternoon. The doctor is trying to trace out the cause of my abdominal pain. I had ultrasound for liver , pancreas, and spleen last week. This is what i like of adobo recipe because very easy to cook . Know what ? I can prepare a breakfast for my kids while i am blogging or doing my task.
