CHICKEN A LA KING recipe. How i wish i can prepare this recipe i've got from S magazine . Its timing because i was thinking what will i cooked this holiday. My kids requesting something i didn't prepare before. Thanks for this S magazine because i am in- love of the recipe after i have read it. I bought this mag in Rustan Supermarket yesterday because i am so curious to read about Gutierrez Family. It also features the 1oo million worth house of the Annabelle and Eddie Gutierrez .
By the way ..I find the procedure simple to follow and easy to cook and i am sure my kids will like it. They said they don't want me to prepare those common recipes like fried chicken, crispy pata lechon kawali or menudo.
Chicken a la King
Ingredients are 3 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup button mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup red pepper, diced
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 cup chicken stock of water
1/2 cup all purpose cream
2 cups chicken meat, cooked and diced
15-20 pieces loaf bread
>To start to cook, first prepare the skillet over the medium heat, melt butter. Saute mushrooms, green and red peppers until tender.
>stir in flour until well-blended. Add chicken stocks, Stir in all purpose cream, stirring constantly until thickened. Sprinkle the Ajinomoto Ginisa all purpose seasoning mix..
>Add in chicken meat. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Spoon tablespoon of chicken mixture to toast cups.
Toast Cups:
>Cut off bread edges. Flatten slightly with rolling pin
>Insert into greased muffin pan and bake at 350 farenheight until golden brown
Yiedl: 15-20 toast cups.
