Halloween Decorations

Halloween is fast approaching. Two months more, it would be halloween again.That is usually the evening before All Saints' Day; often devoted to pranks or scary played by young people. I am sure everybody is exited to have the halloween party. Is your costume ready? Well..when i passed by the mall just this morning, i noticed that they are outfitting the mall's entrance with new halloween decors. The new outlook of the mall with something scary as usual every year. But decors looks the same as last year, I hope they will put more since they are still busy doing.
My teenagers love decorating also our house with halloween decorations every year and last year they hung an improvised big skeleton in our terrace with some props to make it more scary. My kids just wanted to scare our neighbors specially the children. I was happy that my kid's creation was enjoyed watching by the children and other neighbors.

i am having headache

Pain pain pain....please get out from my head. Since last night i am having headache. I took mefenamic acid capsule. The pain relieved after 30 minutes and got a nice sleep. Quirino Grandstand Hostage Drama

I watched the whole hostage drama since 6:30 PM on TV - Chanel 7 up to 09:30PM. There was still negotiations when Channel 7 started featuring the hostage drama at 6:30 but firing started about an hour after. I can't help my heart beat became strong and faster while watching and imagining the situations of the hostages inside the bus. I tried to pray for their safety but unluckily most of this Chinese Nationals were found dead when the hostage drama ended. The Hostage taker ex cop Mendoza shot to dead. If i have not mistaken there are three from the hostages alive but wounded. I hope and pray for their fast recovery for physical and emotional as well. They are in the hospital right now for treatment.
I felt sad about this incidence and innocent foreigners became victims in our country due to cases against this multi awarded ex cop accused of extorting money from a chef whom they accosted allegedly for parking violation and possession of illegal drugs.

Slept on the floor...

I woke up this morning too early around exactly 4:00AM. I noticed that light down stairs is still open. I went down to check and found out that my son is still doing his projects. Ohhh...He didnt sleep yet. He finished at 5:30 AM. He must go to school at 8:00 AM. He prefer to just lie down on the floor of his room. He don't want to sleep in his bed , he might get a deep sleep and can't stand if i"ll woke him up at 7:00 AM.

Free day

It is my therapy day for my plantar fascitis today but i received a text from STI Rheuma -Ortho Rehabilitation that my physiotherapist is absent. Can't able to show up because he is sick. My therapy schedule moved on Sunday. That would be good, ill proceed just after the church service. The church where i am attending is just the opposite of the building of Megamall where STI Rehab is there.
So i am free to blog again for the whole day. I loaded all our laundry clothes yesterday.

Just arrived from the Department of Foreign Affairs. I accompanied my daughter to apply for a passport. It is annoying, because i searched the DFA location in the internet before going . We have reached the right location featured in Google Map but unfortunately, this is the location of the old DFA address. The location address is not updated in Google Map. The guard said that DFA is already moved near Paranaque City. A tricycle driver said that the passporting division is in the New DFA somewhere near the Mall OF Asia. He offered her tricycle to bring us there (New DFA) in just five to 10 minutes to catch our appointment time set 11:00 AM but pay him 100 pesos. This man is overpricing but we need to grab it, or else my daughter can't able to pass her application and will get another appointment date again. This is now the new rules of getting a new passport. Secure first your DFA Passport Appointment online and follow exactly the appointment date has been set. But requiring you to be there exactly 30 minutes before the schedule time given to you. The guards there are strict and they don't allow escort of applicants to wait in the building premises unless below 18 years old. No place for escorts in the premises. Laziness

It is very stressing day! I don't know why.. Maybe i just get bored. I don't want to move if possible. I am so lazy to attend my physiotherapy which is scheduled today at one in the afternoon. My kids...

They are my two kids when they were young. I was hoping and praying that they will grow closed to each other as brother and sister and respect one another always. They will not fight, instead support each other and help each other specially if they are already become older and until they have already a family of their own.

Plantar fascitis

Just finished my second session therapy for my plantar fascitis. Plantar fascitis is an inflammation of the plantar fascia. This is usually a condition starts at the age of forty and above. I am now fifty and the pain at the bottom of my heel started one month ago. Very painful if i get up from my bed every morning. Now , i feel better since after the first session of my therapy. I hope it will completely healed after or before the seven sessions of therapy ordered by the doctor. The physiotherapist applied warm towel over my foot and connected machines which like scratching my nerves inside my feet. I like the feeling during the therapy sessions. I thank the physiotherapist who did my therapy. They are nice people and very polite.

I brought my neighbor in the hospital

Yesterday morning , 11:00AM when a 78 years old woman neighbor knocked my door of my house. She's very weak, pale and her skin are very cold and clammy perspiration. She said, i felt so weak and i can't bear the pain. She came to consult me if she need to go to hospital or what medicine she should take. She's alone in their house her husband is not at their home . She has two daughter with already a family. Other daughter is residing abroad in Germany and her other daughter's house took 30 minutes drive to her mother's house if there is no traffic but she said she's asleep because she's night duty.
My first instinct is to bring her to hospital at once. Imagine ? three days she didn't passed urine and she's complaining of too much pain and she looks weak already. I advised her to go to any emergency hospital or else her bladder might be erupted. In the emergency, vital signs checked immediately and her Blood pressure reading was 200/100. Anti -hypertensive drug incorporated in 500ml of Intravenous fluid dripped slowly to her left hand vein. Catheter inserted connected with urine plastic bag and when her urine flows down to the urine bag , she started to felt better. That makes her terrible, was the accumulation of urine in her bladder that she can't passed out by herself for three days and that is very very painful and i felt the pain she's going through so i decided to accompany her to hospital at once. It was a government hospital so everything needed to patient includes emergency drugs, syringes , Intravenous fluid, catheter and other things needed was one by one ordered by doctor and the nurse advised me to buy in the drug store outside the hospital before they administer the care and medicines needed by the patient. I am wondering, if a patient has no money to buy medicines and if nobody accompanied the patient to buy for the medicines in the drugstore outside the hospital, they can not received the appropriate care and treatment needed.
When my neighbor, was in bed lying on the stretcher and start to feel better after catheter was in placed and emergency medicines administered, she held my hand and whispered, "Belen ..di ko alam kung anong nangyarin na sa akin kung hindi mo ako dinala agad dito sa hospital. Maraming, maraming salamat sa iyo.....(Belen i don't know what happenned to me if ever you didn't advised and brought me immediately here in the to hospital. Thank you, thank you very much to you.)
My neighbor is now okay and discharged home last night. Medical diagnosis is Urinary tract infection. Her husband came to fetch her but her daughter was no show.
