New Year's Eve 2014

Well , though i am alone celebrating New Year's Eve, i still cook Pancit  Guisado and make Rice Cake. I chose pancit because it is what i am wanting to eat this evening, a home made pancit guisado. Rice cake is needed on the table brings family stick together according to Feng Sui. I have also completed 12 rouded fruits placed on my dining table. These rounded  fruits brings prosperity. I believe that all blessings we received are from God  but nothing wrong preparing allthese food, They are healthy food anyway.
I really missed my kids. Though my children are far away from home, i still believe that in our heart and in their hearts we are celebrating New Years Eve together as we used to like on the previous years.  Happy New Year to me and to my dearest kids. I love you so much kids. May Our Almighty Father continue guiding us. May God  give us Happiness and Prosperous life all throughout the year!!

Shy Engineer

My son got a job abroad three months after his graduation. I thank God, seldom a fresh graduate  engineer to be hired by an international company without working experience.  My son was only twenty one  years old , shy and lack of  interpersonal relationship and social interaction with other people. That makes me worried and reluctant to let him go away from us. Me and my daughter (his sister) sent him off to international airport. I notice he's feeling nervous. I assured her that he should not worry because the company where he'll going to  work is a prestigious company and there are lots of Filipino employees to work along .
 He came home after six months for two weeks vacation.  He is happy and I noticed that he is not anymore the son of mine who looks innocent and boyish. He changed a lot and grown up man. He is already the professional engineer with confidence. His salary increased by his employer on the third month in the company, according to his boss he's  deserving and  productive for the company. He is allowed to come home for a 2 weeks vacation every six months. God is good!

Happy for my son..

I opened my facebook before i went to my bed last night. Great! my son was online and had a bit chat with him. I came to know that he is in Singapore for 3 days now. He'said he'll be leaving Singapore for Bintan Indonesia the next few days. He also said that he might be assigned to Sweden for the first time by one of these coming days.  I am so much happy and thank God for my son's achievement in the company where he's working. He's newly graduate of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, he's receiving a minimal salary despite he's doing a huge instrumentation job for the company. All of us in the family still grateful whatever the salary he's receiving, what important is the owner of the company tried to hire him and trusted him although he didn't meet the two years experience requirement. My son convinced the owner on his interviews  that he is knowledgeably knows about the job they're offering. My son now is six months working in their company and no regrets of hiring him because he's very useful and doing his job successfully. He got 40% salary increased started on the fifth month. I just wish that my son stay always good and industrious for the company he works. My son has many plans for his life. I wish  and pray that he'll succeed. I pray for God's guidance and more blessings for him.

Emergency loans

For so many years i've worked very hard everyday. I think it's time for me now to rest and relax. But the problem is i have no money. All  i 've earned and saved since i was still single were all used for my kids to raise them and for their education. At the other hand, no regrets and i am so proud of my kids and my self though, because raising successfully alone of two kids is not easy.  They are both now professionals  and they presently practicing their profession and earning  for their own now. I am left alone penniless but happy and determined to start all over again. I just wish i can able to finished my amortization soon because i can't relaxed until i able to settled all my financial obligations. For the meantime i still not setting aside my plan to unwind somewhere, maybe Boracay or Palawan . Those are the places in the Philipppines that i want to visit  if God willing. I might consider emergency loans
if necessary. That is the only remedy if i pursue my plans to travel specially this coming holidays. I met again through facebook my high school friends and my relatives with the same age of mine. Most of them are working abroad and they are coming back home soon to attend our reunion so i should prepare also not only my time but my finances also. Time Flies so Fast

Yes! time flies so fast! I started blogging four  years ago, t'was my son 2nd year college and daughter was 3rd  year college. Both were taking five years course which is engineering. I am not good in English and more not a writer but for financial sake very badly for my children's studies i insisted myself to join in the blogosphere to earn online. Now, they are already graduates and successfully got works related to their profession, Both works in an international company, my son based in Bintan Indonesia while my daughter still based here in the Philippines. Thanks to God and creator of Blogger Dashboard in the internet.

Embotido recipe

Yesterday, i made Embotido. I served it for our breakfast today. It is tasty really because i got the recipe from a friend who studied culinary. My children said its perfect unlike the embotido they have tasted in their school canteen and else where.

It was a long time planning to try this recipe but was not pursued because i thought it needs a lot of time and it would be a big work. I am not busy yesterday and nothing much doing so i decided to try to make this embotido recipe and yehhh!! success!!

This is how i made it.

In a medium bowl, two tasty bread soak in milk until soft

Add ground pork , raisins, carrots (chopped in small cubes), potato (chopped same as carrots), green peas, grated cheese, onion and pickle relish, chopped celery, finely chopped bell pepper, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well .

Put the desired amount of mixture in every sheet of aluminum foil. Shape into cylinder and rolled tightly. Steam in 30- 45 minutes.

Everything has a purpose...

Me and my kids planned last night that we'll attend church service for ten AM but its already 10:15 but they didn't woke up yet.For sure we'll attend the afternoon service. I already expected this that we can't attend the morning service because they are used to sleep late. See? though they promised to woke up early but they are still in bed snoring. Even the breakfast i prepared, it is already cold , for sure this will be their lunch food , i will not cook for new anymore. I am beginning to freak out again.
While waiting for them, i checked my email and thank God! There is an email from Sponsored Reviews that they had purchased a review from advertiser for me. Love it! I have accepted and made the review immediately. Not bad waiting for my children until they wake up. God is really good. Everything has a purpose.

What makes me happy ???

I feel happy if my children are happy with their life.
I feel happy if i am not under stress
I feel happy if my blood pressure and cholesterol are normal.
I feel happy if i have enough budget for our everyday needs
I feel happy if i able to pay all my bills , amortization on time.
I feel happy if my children loves and eat what i cooked for them
I feel happy if me and my children goes to church together every Sunday
I feel happy if i see that my daughter is responsible to her job
I feel happy if i see my son doing his projects and assignment promptly.
I feel happy if my son inspired in his studies
I feel happy if me and my children eats together, pray together and watch tv together
I feel happy if my children teach me about computer and internet
I feel happy if my sisters and brother are fine wherever they are
I feel happy if i earned more..
I feel happy for what we have now.

Year 2011

Christmas is over and almost 24 hours more to go for New year!!! Yeheyyy!! one year is over again, time flies so fast. Well, my life this year had not changed from previous years, what only the difference was that i saw my hard work paid off because my daughter graduated college last April and got a work a week after graduation. She passed the board examination held last October. Actually, my daughter is intelligent and very responsible to her studies and her recent work. My only worries is if her lovelife having problem. I feel her sadness in her eyes and action. She couldn't sleep and cries at night. She didn't expected this because both looks inloved and we thought the guy will never let my daughter cry but he did. I can't help my daughter than just advising and comforting her. She's young and maybe he's not yet the right man for her. She's a successful engineer... soon, she'll meet the right guy along her way..hopefully. I pray to God that soon He may give her the right man for her to live with forever soon. My son is very secretive but there is no secret that won't come out specially about my son. I know he has already a girlfriend. He's inloved with a girl for the first time. I feel that he's happy. He date her girlfriend once in a while if they are free from their studies. I am so much happy for him. According to my daughter, my son met already the parents of her girlfriend at the girl's house. My son is a shy man but never expected that he was brave enough to go to the house of the girl and meet the girl's parents, that was when he was just still in the process of courting the girl. He's really sincere and very respectful. I really adore my son, the way he respect a girl and girl's parent he loved. I am sure he choosed a good girl he was looking for because what i know, my son is choosy. I was teasing him before (two years ago) that he must have a girlfriend right now just pick from one of his batch but he was telling me that no one of them made him lovable yet. I wish them good luck.
As usual, i spent the Christmas eve with my children. We had exchanged gift after eating a bonggang noche buena.
Me and my children agreed of what recipe to prepare for the New Year's Eve. I will prepare pot roast chicken with special gravy. This special request of my son. My daughter suggested spaghetti the way i used to cook for them. I used huge tomato in cans for the spaghette sauce. We don't passed New Year's Eve without our favorite Red Ribbon Cake and fruit salad.
I wish a happy and Prosperous new year for my family. May we have a happy and prosperous life, healthy free from sickness, out of danger all throughout the year 2012!. I'll also pray those people flooded in Mindanao that they can able to moved on as soon as possible.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!

Tired...

Its Friday!! it is now 12 noon but still i am not yet through with my laundry. I am already tired. I loaded all the short pants and maong jeans to the washing machine. I have still some dresses of my daughter to wash manually. I do also the cleaning and cooking in between. I am now alone. My son went to a school after her breakfast and my daughter went to work after her lunch. All the mess in the kitchen left for me.

I made this post when i took a five minutes break.

Mother's Day 2011

Mother's out there..HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!. I am one of the happiest mother in this world today. My children greeted me with hug and kisses. They bought for me a Red Ribbon Cake. How sweet they are to me...(i am teary eyes) .They are now big children and it happen that friday was their first payday so the gift(cake) is from their hard work.

Hardship paid off

Thank God! Survivor mom's hardships paid off. My baby daughter graduated last April 11, 2011 at SMX mall of asia. She finished Instrumentation and Control Engineering . She's now busy for job hunting. Actually, she's already hired by one company after passing all the requirements, examination and interview. The salary is good higher than other companies she'd applied but she's confused at the moment if she accept this job now. She said, it is just a simple work about instrumentation and does not provide her a promising career growth. She's patiently hunting a job with wide instrumentation and control engineering related.

Need money today....

It's another problem for my daughter about her health. Just last month my daughter confined in the hospital for Dengue Fever and was discharged after 5 days. Last week, severe pain from her upper molar tooth. The dentist advised her for root canal procedure after tooth Xray . At this moment she is still for medication for her liver because her SGPT is still little bit high. (High level of SGPT result is one of the symptom of Dengue Fever).We all know that every capsules or tablet's price now a days is not a joke, it can cause hypertension
Root canal is very expensive. I really have no money available for this matter .. How i wished my small investment will earn today so that the root canal procedure if ever will be doing by the dentist tomorrow, at least i will be ready financially. Hopefully...Lord please....

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine to everybody!!!. Yes friends everyone got a heart.. got a valentine.. but not all got love life ( romantic) he he hehhh.
I cooked foods for my daughter's birthday celebration. My daughter invited her thirty friends from high school and college. The celebration over at 12 midnight , tiring but worth it, she's so happy.I love her so much.

Baguio Visit after Christmas Day

Our Baguio visit. With me are my children Tintin and Joshua last December 27. I still miss one person in my life but these two kids of mine made me happy always. They are the only people on earth that can make me happy specially like this occasion when supposedly , a family should be complete. That is why can't live without them..

Christmas Again...

Oh yeeh ...Thank to God it's Christmas time again! I feel great thinking how much God loves us because He sends his son Jesus to save our sin.
Traditionally we celebrate Christmas with so much expenses but it's fun. Expectedly, my pocket will be forced to be open out again for family christmas expenses. We use to shop for Christmas decorations, gifts for gift giving, clothes and food and etc, etc, etc... including long term plan like home improvement but this definitely can't be done again this year because my budget used for an unexpected expenses.. But it's alright, hoping next time very soon....

By the way, they are readying for roller blade activity every afternoon of Fridays and Saturdays.

My kids's activities during summer ....

They are my kids when they were young at around six years old and seven years old of age. My daughter Tintin was helping his brother Josh to put on the skates and other accessories. We are lucky that our house situated near the dead end, so no vehicles passing by. Kids of the neighborhood are safe to play, biking, rollerblading along the street. We let them play outside they want with always our supervision every afternoon specially summer time.

My kids...

They are my two kids when they were young. I was hoping and praying that they will grow closed to each other as brother and sister and respect one another always. They will not fight, instead support each other and help each other specially if they are already become older and until they have already a family of their own.
