Year 2011

Christmas is over and almost 24 hours more to go for New year!!! Yeheyyy!! one year is over again, time flies so fast. Well, my life this year had not changed from previous years, what only the difference was that i saw my hard work paid off because my daughter graduated college last April and got a work a week after graduation. She passed the board examination held last October. Actually, my daughter is intelligent and very responsible to her studies and her recent work. My only worries is if her lovelife having problem. I feel her sadness in her eyes and action. She couldn't sleep and cries at night. She didn't expected this because both looks inloved and we thought the guy will never let my daughter cry but he did. I can't help my daughter than just advising and comforting her. She's young and maybe he's not yet the right man for her. She's a successful engineer... soon, she'll meet the right guy along her way..hopefully. I pray to God that soon He may give her the right man for her to live with forever soon. My son is very secretive but there is no secret that won't come out specially about my son. I know he has already a girlfriend. He's inloved with a girl for the first time. I feel that he's happy. He date her girlfriend once in a while if they are free from their studies. I am so much happy for him. According to my daughter, my son met already the parents of her girlfriend at the girl's house. My son is a shy man but never expected that he was brave enough to go to the house of the girl and meet the girl's parents, that was when he was just still in the process of courting the girl. He's really sincere and very respectful. I really adore my son, the way he respect a girl and girl's parent he loved. I am sure he choosed a good girl he was looking for because what i know, my son is choosy. I was teasing him before (two years ago) that he must have a girlfriend right now just pick from one of his batch but he was telling me that no one of them made him lovable yet. I wish them good luck.
As usual, i spent the Christmas eve with my children. We had exchanged gift after eating a bonggang noche buena.
Me and my children agreed of what recipe to prepare for the New Year's Eve. I will prepare pot roast chicken with special gravy. This special request of my son. My daughter suggested spaghetti the way i used to cook for them. I used huge tomato in cans for the spaghette sauce. We don't passed New Year's Eve without our favorite Red Ribbon Cake and fruit salad.
I wish a happy and Prosperous new year for my family. May we have a happy and prosperous life, healthy free from sickness, out of danger all throughout the year 2012!. I'll also pray those people flooded in Mindanao that they can able to moved on as soon as possible.

Survivor Philippines season 3

I told myself i will never watch Survivor Philippines Season 4(GMA7) anymore because i had watch season 1, 2 and 3 it might would almost the same story of the castaways. I really didn't watch the pilot episode and even didnt mind its time slot. It happened that, was maybe 3rd or fourth night airing of the show when i opened our tv, I saw Isabel Lopez very talkative and very protective to her daughter Mara . Wow!! i like their tandem for the SP show. They are interesting to watch in this show.
I am for Bulan over Tala. I am happy when Carlo voted out unexpectedly. I really admire of what Arnold did, how to removed Carlo from SP4 as soon as possible. LOL! Arnold is so intelligent. You must be the Sole Survivor for this season!!
I must watch this show till it ended.

Dental Floss

You may don't know that dental floss are still very useful after using. Dental floss is a special nylon thread used to removed food particles stuck in between the teeth and dental plaque. These floss scrapes to clean the side of the teeth when inserted in between the teeth. It is also an alternative tool to achieved the same effect of ordinary tooth brush.

If we don't mind, this thread are made of plastic nylon with waxed so it is durable and not easily cut unless we use sharp object like scissor or knife. You can wash with soap and water then dry in the air for some purposes. Have you experienced your shirt's button get easily loosened or removed because of ordinary thread it used? There was a time that my polo shirt's button loosened in front of of other people. Well, t'was embarrassing isn't it?

Until then, i always rechecked my clothe's button if intact with durable thread before using them. The best thread to use for sewing in the button for coats or shirts is dental floss. I personally recommend it to you guys!! And these are not the only uses of dental floss, you can stock more dental floss in your kitchen aside from dental cleaning or sewing button but also good material to tie or truss a roast chicken. Use this if you want your chicken got the best shape while roasting.

Use dental floss to slice a cake, leche plan or pie if you want to achieved a perfect slice.

Chicken Menudo

I just would like to share this recipe to you. I got this from Mama Sitas Recipe using Mama Sita's Menudo Sauce and Tomato SAuce for Chicken Morconitos in Chunky Menudo Sauce.

1. Flaten boneless chicken thigh and season with salt and pepper.

2.Place a slice of carrots and cheese on the center of each thigh.

3.Roll up and fasten with toothpicks. Pan fry.

4. When the chicken turns golden, remove from heat and set aside

5.Once the chicken has cooled, remove the toothpicks and discard.

6.In the same pan, saute onions until soft, add the Mama Sita's Menudo Sauce, chicken and water. Add raisins salt and pepper.

7.Cover and simmer for another 15 to 20 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and chicken done. Remove from heat and served with steamed rice.

Online auction site for bargain on a variety of products

Its time now to buy gifts and stuffs for the Christmas celebration. I used to shop for Christmas ahead every on the first week of December but until now i have no plan yet when to go for shopping. The reason of delaying my shopping mode is because my budget is not enough any more, i don't know how to stretched my money . I have only the same amount i have last year for December shopping but i am very sure it's not enough to buy what we need for Christmas due to high increased of prices of commodities. Not only commodities became expensive but my monthly bills like hydro electric, water and other monthly bills. I am worried, my earning increased a little but cost of expenses doubled and tripled. I can't just passed Christmas without good food and gift giving in the day of the holiday. If i can't find cheap products in the mall, maybe online is the other option which i didn't before. Why not?

Can't wait for tomorrow evening. I should save a text load for my bet contestant Nomer Limatog. LOL! I am amazed of this boy. Actually, all the contestant are really have a good voices like Lovely, Krizza, Lirah and Kenneth but I like Nomer best because i am so much entertained the way he sings. I forgot all my stresses in life if i hear and watched his videos. I wish he will win in this contest "Protege" channel 7. I am also eager to know what song he will sing tomorrow. He's the singer that able to sing any kind of song like rock song or sweet songs. He perfectly sung If I Had you by Adam Lambert, Baby I love Your Way, Rolling in the Deep, Don't Stop Believing, You give Love A Bad Name, Sweet Child of mine.
