I've been very busy for almost a week. I did only task offered to my blog and failed to visit other's blog because lack of time already. I went home to my province last Sunday. I came back after one day because i have to accompany my sister and her friend to look for the condo for sale. They both like the condo that i recommended. They purchased one unit each. They have chosen the unit at same floor with my unit i 've purchased. My sister's friend expressed her appreciation to me vocally of knowing them this condo. He like the building , place and the price. It is much cheaper that the other condo units offered by other developers that she had seen. It is at the center of Metro Manila but not at the polluted area. She said, the place is perfect for their family. She is a widow with 3 adorable ladies. They are nice people and i like them as my neighbor by the time the condo units be hand over to us next month.

Back to school...

Back to school again. I saw on tv news how Divisoria filled with school supplies shoppers. That is the place where to buy cheap school supplies. Thank God! i am graduated from that kind of torment because my children are already college and they will just use their old uniform, shoes and other school supplies last year. Sweet mangoes

I went home last Sunday evening in my hometown. I am happy that there are still carabao mangoes from our own mango tree. I love this fruits so much and nutritious. Here in Manila i can't resist myself to buy at least a kilo twice a week . Last month the price was 40-50 pesos for one kilo and now it is 60-70 pesos per kilo. Good i able to get one box (70 pieces) patiently. I commuted in a passenger bus and rode a taxi from bus station to my home here in Manila. It was heavy but fortunately i reached home with these fresh mangoes in good condition. Fresh mangoes from home is sweeter than the mangoes from the market because this is ripen naturally.

Mung bean (monggo bean)

It's Friday. I cook sauted monggo beans with ampalaya leaves and pork adobo for our lunch. I am obliged to cook food for our lunch early because my daughter wants food for her lunch from home than buying food near their office where she works. She requested viand with vegetables always.

By the way, i am just wondering why most Filipinos cook monggo beans only on the day of Friday. I don't know the reason behind and i asked my neighbors and vegetable vendors but they don't have any clue.
English word of monggo is a mung. The beans are small, ovoid in shape, and color green.

Our Laundry basket is full

Our big laundry basket is already overflowing. Two days i didn't do the laundering because i am angry to my son for some reasons. Home Made Pizza

Me and my kids craving for pizza. Yellow cab pizza is our favorite brand. Every week we always order the fourteen inches Hawaian flavor that cost P475. The other day i really craving for pizza again but i don't have the budget , my monthly bills arrived again. I can't help so i decided to make a home made pizza. My gush!! in 15 minutes preparation plus the 10-15 minutes cooking i successfully made a home made pizza. It is so yummy. We ate a big pizza without spending much money. Sorry, no photo because my camera is not working since December. Cannon Service Center charging us for more than five thousand pesos for the part that need to be changed. It is not worth if i still pursue for repair. I'll just buy a new camera if i have money.

Wow!! Noynoy won by landslide for president and Binay for vice president. Unexpectedly, Binay is leading over Mar Roxas. I watch the tv the whole day to monitor this first automation election and i rate this election generally peaceful. I didn't see ballot box switching and snatching. No tensions in the precinct except those isolated cases. I voted too and the one i vote for president is the winner. This is the cleanest and fastest national election ever in the Philippines. Although there are some election returns not yet counted due to machine shutdown and invalid memory cards which Comelec need to changed, so it takes a long time to transmit the results. No tensions in the precinct except those isolated cases but generally peaceful election. Petty problems resolved accordingly by the standby comelec staffs and smartmatics ITs. Teachers, election officers and poll watchers did their job calmly. I am really happy.

"Hilabos na Hipon"

"Hilabos na Hipon" or sauted shrimp is a recipe which is quick and easy to prepare. Just wash the shrimp. Place in pan and sprinkle some salt to taste. You may add a little oil if you wish.
