Embotido recipe

Yesterday, i made Embotido. I served it for our breakfast today. It is tasty really because i got the recipe from a friend who studied culinary. My children said its perfect unlike the embotido they have tasted in their school canteen and else where.

It was a long time planning to try this recipe but was not pursued because i thought it needs a lot of time and it would be a big work. I am not busy yesterday and nothing much doing so i decided to try to make this embotido recipe and yehhh!! success!!

This is how i made it.

In a medium bowl, two tasty bread soak in milk until soft

Add ground pork , raisins, carrots (chopped in small cubes), potato (chopped same as carrots), green peas, grated cheese, onion and pickle relish, chopped celery, finely chopped bell pepper, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well .

Put the desired amount of mixture in every sheet of aluminum foil. Shape into cylinder and rolled tightly. Steam in 30- 45 minutes.

Tired...

Its Friday!! it is now 12 noon but still i am not yet through with my laundry. I am already tired. I loaded all the short pants and maong jeans to the washing machine. I have still some dresses of my daughter to wash manually. I do also the cleaning and cooking in between. I am now alone. My son went to a school after her breakfast and my daughter went to work after her lunch. All the mess in the kitchen left for me.

I made this post when i took a five minutes break.

Cleaning complete package

I have scheduled my self to do the general cleaning of my house on Saturday. I seldom do the general cleaning since i reached 50 years old. I used to cleaned the house specially the floor manually wiping with soap and water using damp cloth. My daughter is just graduated last April and now working with good pay. She wants me to rest from cleaning the house manually. She promised to buy for me cleaning machines and some specific solutions for cleaning by the end of this month. She will buy the cleaning complete package for me on December as her gift for me on holiday. She's really sweet daughter of mine. She loves me so much and i do love her too.

It's Sunday again ! But frustrating because of what happen again this morning( sorry can't reveal it for the sake of the family. Me, my son and my daughter stay firm to support each other (as usual). We just hope and pray that at the end of the day, their father will change and be always good to us.

I feel like giving up but i have to be strong for the sake of my children. I'll try to sing to relieve my aching heart.

Window blinds

Ever since i don't pay attention about blinds. Curtains for windows are to block or obscure light, window treatment and for protection. I've been very busy for almost a week. I did only task offered to my blog and failed to visit other's blog because lack of time already. I went home to my province last Sunday. I came back after one day because i have to accompany my sister and her friend to look for the condo for sale. They both like the condo that i recommended. They purchased one unit each. I like this song of Michael Buble. It is a very sentimental song for me. It always reminds me my family in the province. When we were young with our parents. It was a real happy home. Now my parents are gone and i have new home with my kids. But still so many times, i still want to go back home.
