Earth Hour in Trinoma Mall

Last Saturday , Trinoma Mall participated the Earth Hour and they put off the light at 8:30 pm. When all the lights put off, one student fell down into the fountain while they were walking with his friend in the said mall. The fountain is leveled the ground and has no barrier that serve to enclosed the area where the student accidentally fall down . The student got injury of his hand and his cellphone was broken. According to the news reports , the security did not assist immediately despite of his hands smeared with blood and wet clothings. until one o clock in the morning he was wet that nobody of the security to offer him any towel or shirts for the student even when he went for check up in the hospital.
The mother of the students is getting angry to the management and security that they not even care to offer dry shirts and assisted him immediately but the management of the big mall and security has no comment and did not dare to response of the verbal complaint of the mother of the injured students.

Kaldereta

Today is Sunday, no one of the two kids get up early to go to church. I am sure they will get up on lunch time so I decided to prepare Kaldereta. It is a beef cut into pieces about half kilo .I chopped 7 tomatoes, 2 onions and 4 gloves of garlic. And prepare other ingredients like pepper and soy sauce to taste. I put them all in pan with 6 cups of water. Boil until the beef become tender. If not yet tender after 2 hour add more water if needed. When nearly cook and the meat is already tender put cheese and liver spread and simmer for 10 minute. The end result should be juicy .
You might notice there is no tomato sauce added because I prefer fresh tomatoes than canned tamato sauce. Exactly 11: 30 am when the beef cooked and became so tender. Ready for Lunch while watching SOP( a Sunday VarietyShow in Channel 7)

It is Saturday, my both kids in the house. My son almost fully recovered, vesicular rashes are already drying up. I thank God there was no complication developed.

Caring my son

My son is now in the fourth day of antibiotic medication for his varicella infection (chickenpox). He feels better now but vesicular rashes are still on progress. Arroz Caldo (Tripes Rice Soup)

Ingredients:
beef's tripe !/2 kilo
!/2 ' ginger root cut into stripes
2- tablespoon oil
3 gloves of garlic minced
1 medium onion
3-tablespoon fish sauce and little salt
dash of peeper
1/2 cup rice washed and drained
67 cups of water
green onions

1. Beef's tripe half kilo washed and place in saucepan. Add water to boil and simmer for two hours until tender
2. Drain tripe and cut into small pieces
3. Saute garlic until brown and add onion and ginger until onion wilted. Add the tripe, fish sauce, salt, ginger for three to five minutes then add the rice and keep stirring continously for one -two minutes. Add water water and bring to boil. Lower heat and cook for 30 minutes until when done
4. Serve hot and garnish with chopped green onion and dash of pepper to taste

Chickenpox

I am paying DSL bill promptly

I am so disappointed of PLDT. Lately I always experienced problem of my DSL connection every 2-4 days before the due date of my monthly PLDT bill. There is an on and off disconnection few days before due date. There are times that they call and checked if my telephone bill received already. 1 tablespoon cooking oil
4 gloves garlic finely chopped
2 pcs onion, small finely chopped
1/2 cup carrots sliced thinly into strips
1 cup sotanghon soaked in water and drained
1 cup mongo sprout
1/2 cup ground pork
10 pcs. lumpia wrappers
oil for frying

Procedure:
Saute garlic and onions in hot oil add the ground pork till halfly cooked. Add celery and carrots and cook for 2 minutes
Add drained sotanghon. simmer till sotanghon is cooked
Add the mongo sprout and cook for one more minute. Remove from heat
When the filling is cooled get 2-3 tablespoon of the mixture and wrap in lumpia wrapper
Fry in oil if possible deep fry until golden brown and drain.

Need rest

I don't feel well this time. Since yesterday i am not in the mood to do my routine house hold chores. I think my blood pressure is shooting up. Sotanghon Soup with corned Beef

There are are times that i am busy in my store that i can't able to prepare food for my children. So many times i just open canned goods , preheat and serve for them. To have a variation i learned something new to my kids. It is soup with corned beef. In saucepan saute garlic, onion and on piece chopped tomatoes in one tablespoon oil. Stir until wilted. Add the corned beef and saute for three minutes. Add 5 cups of water and put something flavoring like knorr cubes or any brand which you prefer. Then add i cup sotanghon and cook until noodles are tender . Add vegetable like chinese pechay which is cut in one inch strips or thinly sliced cabbage. Serve hot

When I had one year old daughter and also pregnant for my upcoming second baby. That time i was living with my in-laws while we were looking for a house for our own. 2 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 kilo chicken cut into pieces
garlic finely chopped
onion chopped in small pieces
3 pieces medium tomatoes
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup corn kernels
1 cup water
Fry with oil the chicken in half cooked and slightly golden in color . Remove from oil and drain
Remove excess oil from frying pan . saute garlic onion and tomatoes. Mix the chicken and remaining ingredients and add also Knorr cubes (chicken flavor if you want) and simmer until chicken is cooked and all the the flavors until have blended together. Season with pepper and if desired add hot sauce.

DVD organizer

Long time back when my kids are still young i used to bring them in movie house every weekend. I really missed those days when we all watch movies together but i can't do anything than to let them go because it is a part of their adolescent. I just thank that they loves movies and icekates than going anywhere or hanging up to any bars or any places that tempts to smoke, drink alcohol or takes drugs. I just bought original DVD for us to watch in our house, especially if we feel bored and the movie is nice and interesting . busy, tired and time

Sorry friends . I am really so tired . I was not able to make a visit and bloghopping. It is my laundry day. My kids are busy now for their coming final examinations and they are also busy with their reports in almost all subjects especially my daughter. My son is only second year and most of his subjects are minor so i found him pretty sitting and watching movies. At least sometimes he helps me in the store especially if he saw me doing my task given by advertisers to me. He used to ask for a burger everytime i got my earnings every 15 days.
My gushhh!!! two weeks from now, school year is over . Time flies so fast! And i all already 10 months blogging.

Chicken macaroni Salad

I always prepare chicken macaroni salad usually every occasion only. But the other day i am so depressed or hurt for something and tired also. I tried to sleep but i can't sleep. So what i did is just cooked macaroni salad to forget everything. This is how i am, if am in distress . Distress??? hehehe ...slight only.
Simmer at least 1/4 kilo of chicken breast in pineapple syrup from pineapples del Monte chunks until cooked and cut into small pieces.And combine with the pineapple chunks , carrots(peeled and boiled and cut into cubes), mayonaise at least one cup and cooked elbow macaroni. Mix all the ingredients together. Very easy. Is it? Not like the other chicken macaroni recipes which so many ingredients to prepare like chop onions , pickle release and some put chops ham. But this recipe is simple , but tasty. (LOL)
No pictures again. You know i don't know how to upload pictures. All (except photos from google search) those uploaded pictures in my previous post from our digital camera were all done by the help of my children but they are like neurotic these time. They were busy and lazy to upload my pictures.

I always turned on the radio to provide her soft music while my baby is asleep and television is turned ON to watch Sesame Street if she is awake. I see to it that everything was securely in placed especially that i am alone in the house and no one to look after my baby while i am in the other part of the house.

Jay R is Back

Jay R is back. Glad to know that Jay R able to come back from USA where he was emotionally traumatized by a train accident last month. According to Star talk that he came back here in the Philippines to continue his unfinished commitments in GMA . I saw him on tv when featured his arrival in the airport with his girlfriend . He seems look good and okey. I do hope and pray that he had fully recovered from the traumatic experience. He does not know me but i prayed for him because i am one of his fan. He is a good singer and never heard an intrigue against him. Keep it up Jay R! Hope to see you singing again in SOP (channel 7) on Sunday.
