This is one of my hesitation if i am invited to any occasion that i should have to give a present. It is not that i don't want to give a present but i don't know what gift i should give. "Nilaga"

This is one recipe i learned from a dried fish wrapper. This is easy to prepare and very nourishing and hearty one-dish meal. It is full of flavor from the different meat cuts. So tasty because meat bones add richness to the stock. I call it nilagang halong baka, paboy spare ribs and some pieces of chicken thighs.
Just bring to a boil spareribs of beef and pork which cut into 1 and half inches long and some pieces of chicken . In a big pot put all the beef, pork and chicken and add garlic bulb, bay leaves and peppercorn. Bring to boil and simmer over a low fire.Simmer them until bones about to fall off then add onion potato then carrots saba and cabbage.Salt to taste .Be sure vegetables are not over cooked. Serve hot with soy sauce and calamansi.

Nutritious diet

My daughter is on diet. She eats very little fish only.She's not doing the right ways of how to loss weight. She is so hard headed despite of my advices that she needs nutritious food especially now that she's third year college. She needs lots of effort for her major subjects and she must have to eat enough nutritious food for her brain but she eats only little food to avoid extra weight. She don't eat breakfast because she get up from bed usually 11:00 am she took little food for lunch . My son came back home at 5:30 AM safely. He said 3 of them left the venue at 2:30 Am . I am out for two days and i am not yet in good mood to blog but i have to , because i have task to finished. I just share to you how to prepare this Chocolate Drinks from our native tsokolate. Place in blender with 5 cups of pasteurized cow or carabao's milk and 5 teaspoon of peanut butter and blend until froth forms. Transfer in a pot , heat and constant stirring it vigorously with whisk. Well as a Filipino Citizen although i am just an ordinary citizen i am still worried of so many irrigularities and corruptions in our country but no one is convicted.
When investigation in the senate , they (senators ) courageously show or feature on tv those huge amazing wealths and treasures of the Philippines being corrupted by some gouvernment officials. You will never believe that Phillipines is not considered belong to third country if only those wealths and treasures are not corrupted by only several Filipino people.

Teenage Behaviour

I am totally blanked for a while when My son answered me "Hwag ka ngang maingay. Mamaya pang ten o clock ang pasok ko" {Don't be noisy . Still at ten o clock is my schedule.} I used to wake him up every 6:00 in the morning because his usual schedule is 7:30 am. I don't expect that he answered me that way. He did not informed me that, they don't have first subject today. It's good when he noticed that i am hurt he gave me smile and said very nicely . " Mama My professor attended Mandaluyong day so we don't have class from 7:30 to 10:00 am ."
It is really hard to accepts by parents if teenager showing some behaviors which is not acceptable by folks especially my daughter who used to just rolled her eyes if i am always keep on reminding her. She said she is not anymore a child . But there is something i noticed to them , they don't want me to talk so much . As part of adolescence they tried to find their own identities so not all times they need me to remind everything they do as like when they were in younger age.

Two years ago i attended Seminar on parenting in our church. The speaker said that if a young teenager is not listening or disagrees parents rules and regulation or neglects your standard , stay calm and if you can't say anything good, better keep silent and show to him that you are there for them and pray that your teenagers rebellion will be over.

Paintball forums

Since my son is already joining paintball games with his friend i have been interested too about this game.I tried also joining paintball forums to be familiar with this kind of game about the rules and regulation and specially how to play this game and how to avail those gears and accessories. I found this sport improves my son's personality , not only improved his physical fitness but also he socializes well now with other players. My son was a shy type of teenager before but since after encouraged him to attend paintball forum he became vocal to ask questions about paintball games and became friendly and got so many paintball players who became his friends outside the school. I am so happy for him because of this game , i am not worried for him getting involved to bad influence friends. His interest in this game keeps him away from drugs addiction. He came home late the other day because he attended
paintball gun forum. He wanted to know which gun the best he uses for the game.

There will be light

Idon't have light in my store! It is not functioning since yesterday. I bought new bulb and changed but still not working. Maybe, bulb is not the problem but the starter. I decided to remove the starter and went to hardware for new starter again.
After i myself installed the new starter , still failed to produce light. I need to look for a trusted electrician.

Paintball guns

Last week my son came home very very tired and shirts looks messy full of paints. I thought there was something wrong. But obviously looks happy and said that he and friends played paintball with his closed friends. I know this friend of my son, he is the son of a rich businessman and they have a wide backyard and converted to a private paintball park. And yesterday we were invited again including me . I just watched them and am so happy for my son because he really enjoyed the game . I love watching him in complete gear with paintball gun. I can't believe it. Is that my son? he is not a boy anymore! Guns was all provided by Roger (friend of my son) so i ask him where he had purchased those gears specially the paintball guns. I am planning to buy for my son. They looks great gadget for paintball warrior. Feeling cold

I get up this morning shivering . I don't know where this chilly sensation came from. I am sick or may be the cold weather? I have also backache but i think backache is just the cause of prolong sitting with the computer yesterday and most of the time. I prepared our breakfast and did 30 minutes exercise to stretch my muscles then took a bath. I took my temperature with thermometer but it is 37.6 degrees centigrade. No !i am not sick. Thank God ! I don't have infection. The weather is just cold , There is no rain here in Manila but cloudy.

Sexuality now adays is very open to all , Romantic affection of partners are so open even if seen by small children, they are not aware of it. Some says, good for children if sexuality is open to them and learn sex education at their early age in school. I remember when i was in high school , there were proposals that sex education is included in lower grades or standard. It is good it was not approved. Personally i am not in favor of sex education at early age. This is for adults only!! Usually, some countries are very conservative toward sexuality that even holding hands and kissing is very private. We are now in the computer age, everybody has a wide mind on sex. For me, this is very important to husband and wife. There are times that sexual dissatisfaction is one factor of husband and wife's separation or divorce.It is a big problem for husband and wife psychologically and sexually if a husband hardly enhanced sexually by foreplays. So many cases like this due to effect of alcoholism and some diseases that affects reproductive system. Cheque from Google Adsense

Yeheyyyy! at last i received my earnings from Google adsense $ 1o1.95 . This is my first time to receive a payment from google adsense since i created my first blog last May 2008 and other blogs created on July 2008. Google paid me in the form of check , but i still have to open a dollar account and deposit the check for clearing. Clearing takes maybe 2 months. Whew! i am excited but dying of waiting to be cleared. But it's okey at least , I am paid although just a little amount not like the other bloggers who are receiving huge amount. How I wish that i can also increase my traffic too, to avail a higher payment too! (lol)

More than ten years now that i am wearing eyeglasses. I got a poor vision since i reached at age of 35. Almost every six months i consulted optical because my vision became poorer and need to change the lens and just recycle the frame although it looks old and already out of fashion.I can't afford to buy new frame because frames now are so expensive. Fish With Coconut milk and Eggplant

I can't decide what will i cook for our lunch. Thinking what recipe for the eggplant . I bought the eggplant for forty pesos per kilo. I have in my refrigerator a tangege fish which i bought two days ago. It cost one hundred forty pesos per kilo. My daughter is dieting she's not eating meat anymore but fish and vegetables only. It is good i have still tangege fish in my refrigerator so i simmer it with salt, vinegar , 1/2 cup of water, ginger. When fish and eggplant done, i added 1cup of coconut milk and boil once more then serve to my kids. Just like that. So simple because i am in a hurry to blog again. (LOL)

Liquefied Petroleum Gas shortage

I am also one of the retailer of Liquefied Petroleum Gas since 1997. Throughout those years deliveries were smooth and there was no problem at all. It started since December 2008 when we retailers experienced the shortage of LPG supply. Wondering why there are no more deliveries from our dealers because if you watch tv news, the Energy Secretary Angelo Reyes always insisting that there is an enough supply Liquefied Petroleum Gas for household and business needs. I could really feel the hardship of consumers especially household when their cylinder is empty .
From news papers today , Reyes said that Major Oil Companies are set to import the cooking gas early this month . So there is no reason to panic. And promised to work together to eradicate illegal dealers using unbranded cylinders. And they will file a case against those engaged in trade malpractice. These are the groups have been using unsafe cylinders and hoarding causing panic among buyers. There are illegal refillers who used known brands retailers but they don't follow safety standard and and they don't fill the cylinder with right weight LPG. I do hope they really work for it because I myself found unsafe cylinders when i was in this small business and advising my costumers not to buy LPG which is unbranded and rusty cylinders. These are not safe and possibility to explode easily causing fire.
