My son got a job abroad three months after his graduation. I thank God, seldom a fresh graduate engineer to be hired by an international company without working experience. My son was only twenty one years old , shy and lack of interpersonal relationship and social interaction with other people. That makes me worried and reluctant to let him go away from us. Me and my daughter (his sister) sent him off to international airport. I notice he's feeling nervous. I assured her that he should not worry because the company where he'll going to work is a prestigious company and there are lots of Filipino employees to work along .
He came home after six months for two weeks vacation. He is happy and I noticed that he is not anymore the son of mine who looks innocent and boyish. He changed a lot and grown up man. He is already the professional engineer with confidence. His salary increased by his employer on the third month in the company, according to his boss he's deserving and productive for the company. He is allowed to come home for a 2 weeks vacation every six months. God is good!

Happy for my son..
I opened my facebook before i went to my bed last night. Great! my son was online and had a bit chat with him. I came to know that he is in Singapore for 3 days now. He'said he'll be leaving Singapore for Bintan Indonesia the next few days. He also said that he might be assigned to Sweden for the first time by one of these coming days. I am so much happy and thank God for my son's achievement in the company where he's working. He's newly graduate of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, he's receiving a minimal salary despite he's doing a huge instrumentation job for the company. All of us in the family still grateful whatever the salary he's receiving, what important is the owner of the company tried to hire him and trusted him although he didn't meet the two years experience requirement. My son convinced the owner on his interviews that he is knowledgeably knows about the job they're offering. My son now is six months working in their company and no regrets of hiring him because he's very useful and doing his job successfully. He got 40% salary increased started on the fifth month. I just wish that my son stay always good and industrious for the company he works. My son has many plans for his life. I wish and pray that he'll succeed. I pray for God's guidance and more blessings for him.

Time Flies so Fast
Yes! time flies so fast! I started blogging four years ago, t'was my son 2nd year college and daughter was 3rd year college. Both were taking five years course which is engineering. I am not good in English and more not a writer but for financial sake very badly for my children's studies i insisted myself to join in the blogosphere to earn online. Now, they are already graduates and successfully got works related to their profession, Both works in an international company, my son based in Bintan Indonesia while my daughter still based here in the Philippines. Thanks to God and creator of Blogger Dashboard in the internet.

Hardship paid off
Thank God! Survivor mom's hardships paid off. My baby daughter graduated last April 11, 2011 at SMX mall of asia. She finished Instrumentation and Control Engineering . She's now busy for job hunting. Actually, she's already hired by one company after passing all the requirements, examination and interview. The salary is good higher than other companies she'd applied but she's confused at the moment if she accept this job now. She said, it is just a simple work about instrumentation and does not provide her a promising career growth. She's patiently hunting a job with wide instrumentation and control engineering related.

My sister
Been absent in blogging for several days. I spent four days exclusively for my sister. Many years we have not seen each other. She resigned now from her job and she's very excited to see us. She's proposing for a Boracay trip but we can't because it's schooling time. Hope we can make it on summer. My kids are very close to her.

Across the country
This was my picture of my younger days across the country. It was 1980's when was new to this place and came here to work which very far from home, family and friends. There was no cellphone yet that time and only letters by mail was our means of communication with my family. Long distance call through landline was possible but there was no telephone line in my home town that time. It took them 2-3 weeks to received my letters so with their letters too. I could not imagine now how cute i am before! LOL! So young, innocent and virgin . LOL!!! My looks now is entirely different.
This was my 3rd day, I was writing a letter to my mother that i am in good hands and first time to sleep in an air conditioned room. I told them they don't have to worry with me because almost thousand of Filipinos works in my work place and we arrived here by batch, 25 each a batch. I was excited, proud and happy telling them in my letter that we are provided with fresh milk, expensive cheese & bread, apples , oranges and 2-3 viands each meal (lunch and dinner) everyday in the mess hall and i could eat as much as i can. These are the food that i was craving for because we can't afford to buy those days.
It was a nice experience that i will never forget in my entire life.

I was about to finished high school and one month more i am already going to college. By that time i don't know yet what course I'll study if i'll go to college or university. My mind was not fixed until finally i decided to take up nursing because this course does not need Algebra, Geometry or Trigonometry. I hate those subjects and looking forward to the job for this nursing field is just to take care of sick so i finally decided to take this profession as my career in the future. It is easier for me to take care of sick individuals rather than studying engineering or other course which not my line, the reason is, i can't finished the course and time will just be wasted.

Clerical job is truely different job from the nursing course i took and the situation is entirely different but i tried my best to finished the works assigned to me everyday. I tried to be good with my officemates so that they will teach me about the things i don't know specially clerical works and learn from them the do's and dont's of the company to avoid mistakes or offenses. Luckily i made the job easier and perfect after three months and the management put me as regular employee. I am already happy in this company and i am also closed and very open to my officemates. I decided to continue this job because at that time there was unemployment of nurses in our country. I need to work for my financial needs. But lately , my officemates changed. They are aloft or became sometimes arrogant or selfish to me. They were older than me and they get old in this company. They will never allow that i am better than them. I think they insecured to me for i don't know the reason because i am just only new and i respects them so much.
I've been worked in different companies transferred from job to another . My longest job was my nursing career. I worked with different people and different personalities. The hardest part in a jobsite is when you have a co-worker with Narcissistic Entitlement Syndrome . As Harrison Barnes said people with NES see themselves as special, believe they should have whatever they want regardless of the feelings of others, and continually inflate themselves while putting others down. This is very true. You can't help but it is their behavior and characteristics that no one can changed but the most affected is the person who put it down and the job as well.
