What to do in case of fracture

It is summer time and Holy week, the longest vacation we ever had here in the Philippines. It is a four days no work plus Saturday and Sunday . Everyone has time to enjoy specially those who went for out of town. I am nothing doing at home at the moment so i am just in the mood to write something about fracture. Fracture is a break in the continuity of a bone cause by accident. The victim feels pain at the site of injury, swelling, tenderness, deformity, loss of function and some neurovascular symptoms depends on the severity.
Immediate management of a fracture is to determine first the patient's outcome. While examining the fractured site must be handle the part gently and as little as possible but as much as possible immobilized the fractured site. Apply splint before moving the patient and when transferring them to a better place to lie or when transferring to stretcher . Control hemorrhage. You can use tshirts or any clothing for padding if there is no available pads. Use folded news papers, magazines, pillows, tree limbs or board for splints if necessary. Observed blood circulation at the affected area, check the color and pulse. Checked any more complaints of the patient or pressure and transport the patient carefully and gently to nearest hospital.
