Shrimp Tempura

Remove shell of the shrimp and make a slit and remove the long vein. Season with salt and calamansi juice (lemon juice) and set aside and prepare batter

Batter
1 egg
1/2 cup water
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon vetsin (msg)

Beat egg . add water and continue beating then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well until become smooth.
Deep shrimp in batter and drop one by one in deep hot oil. Fry until golden brown

Serve with catsup
