Looking for fruits

I went to market at fruit stall to look for fresh pineapple. My son is having running nose i wanted him to eat fresh fruits like oranges and pineapple. I prefer the fresh one than in cans. I was not able to find fresh pineapple in the market. I found some in SM Hypermart but i think it is newly delivered and not yet ripe , skin is still dark green. I am looking for the yellowish one specially at the bottom part of the pineapple fruit. I bought one but for tomorrow or for next two more days to eat.
