Ginger Juice

It is first Sunday of year 2009. I can't attend again our church service. I have on and off contineous productive cough. This was started since Christmas eve. I have already cared myself with fruit juices and fluid intake. I also took expectorant and slightly relieved. I think i should have to try ginger juice (salabat).
This is how to prepare ginger juice . Prepare 2 inches long of fresh ginger root, peeled and crushed and boil with 5 cups of water . Simmer 7-10 minutes. Sweetened with brown sugar. Remove ginger slice before drinking. May serve hot or cooled.
