STEAK STRIPS

1- 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into strips 2" long
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic minced
4 tbsp cooking oil
1 3/4 cup water
1/4 cup tomato sauce or 2 tbsp. catsup
tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
First coat the meat with flour and brown meat into both sides in skillet with hot oil.. Remove meat from skillet and saute garlic until brown then onion until transparent.
Add meat and all the above ingredients , cover and simmer until tender and cooked.
Note: Occasionally stir .
Serve hot with rice
