Vegetable Salad

I prepared Vegetable salad this morning my daughter start to be hard headed again. She 's already slim but she wants more. She does not like to eat rice and eat only little food. I am afraid, she seem like having Bulimia (I hope and pray not). Vegetable salad is her favorite so i took the opportunity to eat a bigger amount. Actually all of us here in the house like so much so i made it sure that i used fresh vegetables except the pineapple tidbits and pickle relish to have a better taste.
I used half kilo fresh carrots. I grated by myself and my daughter requested to use the finest grater so it is not hard to chew and more tasty.
One 1 kilo of potato, washed and boiled then remove skin and cut into small cubes
One fourth Baguio beans cut into small pieces and blanch
2 grated onions
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoon pickle relish( drained)
one small can of pineapple tidbits (drained)
One small bottle of mayonaise and mix together
one chicken breast boiled until tender and cut into small pieces

Mix all the ingredients in one bowl (big enough for mixing them together) and let it cool in the refrigerator before serving.

And I am so much thankful for that because when i was tired of crying and stand up again. I have felt peace in my heart and start all over again. I realized that He was just there beside me and I realized that i have so much other blessings actually. He gave me adorable children who are doing good and we are happy. We are so much blessed. I am so sorry to Him now for being confused and questioning him for giving such problem. I realized HE never leave me and ignored me despite of everything . Tired and exhausted

I don't know what to say. I don't know what to write and post now. My mind is extremely tired. I made 2 paid post and blog visit to my fellow blogger and at the same time laundering. Beef tripe with "Lugaw"

I cooked Goto this morning for our breakfast. First i prepared the tripe , clean and boiled until tender last night and keep in the refrigerator.
Here are the ingredients:
half kilo beef tripe
i cup glutinous rice ( Malagkit)
3 gloves of garlic and crushed
2 tablespoon ginger cut into strips
i large onion and sliced
4 tablespoon patis ( fish sauce)


When i woke up this morning, i saute garlic and ginger. When the garlic turned into golden brown i added the onion and stir until wilted. Beef tripe, fish sauce, pepper and the uncooked rice was added next and stir for at least 3 minutes then add the broth and water. Lower the heat and simmer until rice is cooked and stir gently for 3-5 minutes when the rice was done. Serve hot and garnish with chopped (one inch long) spring onion.

Pasig River

I hope you don't feel lonely for this picture. Actually it is a snapshot of my son while we were passing by the bridge connecting Mandaluyong and Makati around 6 PM. This is a Pasig River so nice to see in the picture but water is so dirty and polluted. I heard in the 90's before that, the gouvernment was determined to rehabilitate this dead river to make it a tourist spot but unfortunately this proposed project is maybe forgotten and discontinued. And until now I could not see anything done.

DSL connection

Yesterday evening , DSL internet connection was very very slow. I supposed to blog hop, visit my fellow bloggers and make more paid post but my time was wasted. I am alone in our house, children whom i share with the computer are in the school . I tried to contact DSL to report the problem but all line is always busy. Ohhh!! Boiled chicken with gravy

This time i will post again another chicken recipe. My son seldom eat fish and he likes chicken even everyday. So i am trying to learn all those chicken recipes from books , news papers or magazines. I think this is very common and simple but i only learn this recently:
Prepare this inredient: One whole chicken, one onion, finely chopped ,ground pepper, MSg vetsin and salt
Procedure:
First thing to do is cut the chicken into big serving and place in the pan together with the onion, msg, peeper and salt. Add enough water to cover the chicken and boil until tender. When chicken cooked and tender, removed the chicken from broth and put your favorite vegetables in the broth like cabbage, potatoes and carrots or string beans. The potatoes should only cut into half only and carrots into thick strips and string beans cut into to 2 inches long. Add the cabbage and cook slightly then arrage the vegetables in a dish with the chicken, Top the gravy.

For the gravy , just melt at least 2 table spoon of butter in a pan in low fire, Add and stir the 2-3 table spoon of flour untill blended then add the broth at least 1-2 cups . Stir contineously and season with vetsin, pepper and salt. Thats gravy and top to the chicken when everybody is ready to eat.
