Friends it 's raining today . I am so lazy to get up from my bed but i have to, for so many things to do in the house .I just prepared egg sandwich for our breakfast because this summer my kids get up from bed at between 9 and 10 am and by that time i am about to cook for our lunch again.
I boiled 3 eggs (hard boiled) only because we are only 3 in the house, shelled and sliced into cubes. About one half cup of shredded cabbage cooked briefly and strained to removed extra water . Then one and half spoon of mayonnaise. Pepper and a pinch of salt to taste.
All the above ingredients mixed them all together and sandwiched with big size loaf bread. A cup of coffee for me and glass of milk for the kids.
That's our breakfast for today.

Easy and Healthy Recipes
My friends and moms out there! I know most of you loves cooking for your family. I love cooking too but my problem is i cook few recipes only. I was not given a chance to learn more recipes when my kids was young because i was so busy that time. But now they are teenagers and college student. They don't need my special attention already and they could also help me now in some of my works in our house. This is the time now that i should indulge some of my time in cooking. My daughter also is now interested to learn some recipes and i found her yesterday that she was searching some recipes in the internet . I am happy for her that at her age she start cooking because she will be mom too someday. A psychological test to determine whether the victim committed suicide or not. So i tried to searched in ABS CBN news tv today to make a follow up about the news . According to the news today the NBI noted that Ted Failon and his household members concluded that there were no inconsistencies. Their statements are consistent and there is no need to have polygraph test according to NBI spokesman of Ted Failon's wife case. But still continue investigation. Forensic expert of the bureau will again test for any presence of gunpowder on the t shirt of Ted Failon and Trina they wore during the incident because Ted Failon was the one who brought Trina in the hospital . And also the NBI investigator will interview those close friends of Trina how she was or what are her last words to them and how was her appearance if she was happy or sad before Trina gunshot wounded in the bathroom.
I wish that this case settled as soon as possible and the family of Ted will move on and see him again in TV broadcasting.

Stuffed Chicken
As a busy mother sometimes i can't cook like this kind of recipes but there are times that i am guilty to my children if i always prepare simple and always the same recipes everyday. Saturday or Sundays i made it sure that i prepare something special for them.
Ingredients:
3 gloves of garlic and finely chopped
3 onions and finely chopped
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
whole chicken -one kilo or more
softened butter and one teaspoon salt
3/4 cups button mushrooms and sliced thinly
1/2 cooked green peas
1/2 cup water
1/2 -2 cups of cooked rice
1. First clean the whole chicken, rub wit salt all over to remove the odors and wash with water.
2. Combine the softened butter, salt and garlic and rub and coat the chicken with this mixture and set aside
3. Heat a pan and saute the onion, mushroom and green peas and add the water and cooked rice. Stir and mix well then remove from heat and let it cool
4. Insert the stuff into the chicken . be sure stuff is not overflowing then place the chicken in baking pan and bake for an hour. While baking once in a while brush the chicken with cooking oil
5. Bake until juices comes out and chicken easily pierced with knife.
Enjoy eating!

Cheap Condominium
I have been busy for several days looking for a cheap condominium for my niece. She'll coming here in the Philippines to take her affiliation in Ateneo Professional School (Rockwell) for four months. I able to see one and reserved already. She only instructed me that should be near the school and reachable by walking distance . But i made it sure that should be safe place and conducive for her to rest and review. It is just only a studio type unit but there is a divider so it looks one small condo unit with one bedroom. Donaire and Viloria knockouts their Mexican Opponents
Wow! Congratulations Philippines. Yeheyyy! we have another champion in Boxing again! not only one but two!! Yesterday Nonito Donaire Jr knocked down Mexican challenger Raul Martinez at the fourth round. Martinez is a Mexican who keeps his IBO/IBF titles by technical knockout in the fourth rounds. I watched on TV and i saw Martinez's facial expression everytime he dropped on the floor on the first round. Actually i pity him because he has no chance to fight back always punched on face by Donaire.

My time wasted due to misunderstanding
I am looking for a condo for rent somewhere near Ateneo (Rockwell) for my niece. She is a Canadian citizen and Law student in Canada. The University she's studying sent her here in Philippines at Ateneo College of Law for further studies for 4 months. Her mother assigned me to look for a condo near Ateneo for her to stay. I don't expect that rental fees near Rockwell or at Makati area are too expensive. My gush!!! it is 30,000 pesos or more per month and that is their lowest price for studio type . I tried to search in the internet more and i found one which is cheaper so i tried to meet the owner and wait for our meeting place but we did not meet due to misunderstanding. Our meeting is 2:00pm and i was there 5 minutes before 2pm . I did not bring my cellphone anymore. 2pm she was calling and texting me to confirm our meeting but i am already in our meeting place and nobody in our house to attend her call. So bad, i went back home at 03:30 . My time wasted.

Holy week is over. I just been stuck in our house for the whole week with my kids. But since yesterday , i was alone because my children went to my in- laws house. No more vacation
It is Monday , start of holy week and it is a Philippine National Heroes Day. It is proclaimed holiday but Christine and Joshua 's school is open for enrollment and today is the last day then on Monday (April 13) is the opening of summer class. Actually both of them don't need necessary summer class but they want to take advanced minor subjects for fifth year engineering. (My daughter will be forth year and my son will be third year by next June 2009.)They get up early and went to school before the opening time because they expects a long line.
I thought i can relaxed and go for a short vacation this summer but again is not possible because i spend a lot of money for their enrollment and i have to save for their every day allowance again and prepare for another enrollment by next school year. Ohhhh !!!! it is really a non stop expenses. When this financial torment ended?

Red Cross Captives
At last! yesterday, one of the Filipino Mary Jean Lacaba Red Cross volunteer released from captivity of the Abu Sayyaf for 77 days. Senator Richard Gordon and the DILG Secretary said that there was no ransom paid at all. But there two remaining Red Cross captives name Swiss Andreas Notter and Italian Eugenio Vagni – are not yet released but according to the news report that they are still alive and doing fine. The Sulu official said that The group released Mary Jean because they want peace and promised to be good and renew their life now . Hope soon this issue will resolve as soon as possible. Families of the hostages are very much worried and affected.

Pistachio
Just today, I am watching the tv news Channel 7. it is reported that BFAD (Bureau of Food and Drug ordered the recall of all pistachio / products with pistachio from USA. because some socks of pistachio are suspected positive with salmonella bacteria. The BFAD officer warn the Filipino people not to eat dairy products, ice cream or cakes with pistachio at these time. The BFAD are still to examine the pistachio and products with pistachio to confirm if they are contaminated with salmonella. I think mother out there don't buy pistachio for your children at this time until the BFAD has a further notice that pistachio is salmonella free.

Jennelyn Mercado
Last Sunday in Showbiz Central featured Jennelyn Mercado again for different issue. An ultimate starstruck survivor who underwent Cesarean Section seven months ago. From tv news and newspapers ,reported that her cesarean incision was opened and infected. I am wondering how come this surgical incision of Jennelyn got open on the seventh month . It must be fully healed at this time. She is not the mother who works or exert too much pressure like lifting heavy objects and she is fully guided and supervised by an expert obstetrician-gynecologist doctor from a prestigious Hospital who performed the operation. Despite of her load of showbiz activities , I am sure she has yayas and personal assistant with her always to do for her personal needs. How I wish that Jennelyn Mercado will get well soon. Poor Jennelyn, she has so many problems. There are lawsuits against her. Her money was stolen allegedly. She is a young single mother.
