Credit Cards

Being a compulsive shopper that I am, I always had a hard time resisting myself from buying stuff whenever I go to mall. It is just so tempting to swipe your VISA Card when you immediately see adorable things that usually catch your eye. Having cool gadgets like; Sony PSP, Samsung Cellphones, Ipod Nano being displayed in the mall, I always ended up being lured using my credit card for not wanting to be left out. I wasn't really scared even if my bill went up because I have a stable job back then and receiving enough salary to pay my bills. But some unfortunate incident happened when I was fired from work due to misconceptions of my superior. I had a hard time finding another job that I wasn't able to pay my credit card bills.

Life

How could I help these young people. They are only high school students but are already smokers. Every day, after their class they come to buy cigarette in my store and stand by in the street instead of going home. I tried not to sell cigarettes to all minors but smoker parents or brothers used to make small children an errand to buy for them. Some not only cigarette but liquor products. Well I don't want to judge their future. I have witnessed children who were out of school before and sometimes problem of the community but when they grew up and got married they seek and got a non-professional job. They became responsible parents.they sends their kids to private school and provide everything what their kids wanted.

MY SON

This is my son JOSHUA . A second year engineering student. I thank God that He gave a singing talent to my son . He sings for the church. What I like to him is so cooperative in the church activities and their church band rehearsals. It's his own decisions to join as his ministry. Now, I have a piece of mind if ever he is not home or school, he usually in the church with his friends.

He sings with his band members for Praise And Worship

He sings for his cousins everytime there is a family reunion

He sings in the school program

He is a good son and cares for me

I would like to describe what happened to me yesterday, here it goes:

1. Yesterday, I started the day with my daily chores in the house as usual

2. I posted two topics for my nursing notes blog

3. I opened my sari- sari store from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm

4. I cooked hamburger for my kids as a snacks here in our house and in the school. I made my own patties to be sure that the meat is fresh and no preservative and flour on it. I prepared it with fresh tomato and lettuce.

5. I paid all my due bills this morning. The amount of my monthly bills were doubled. I am worrying because my source of income goes down instead of going up. I can hardly compensate thrice the amount of our daily expenses.

GREEN

Green is my favorite color ever since. So if I' m buying a stuff for the house, I always choose the green one. Specially curtain I like green because of the looks that makes me feel cool, specially that I am always tired of doing my routines in my house. It was one time when there was a gathering of my folks in the province , there was an old woman who told me that I have a curtain on in the door of my house and advised me to remove it because it gives me bad luck. I am bit amazed because how come he knows, I don't know him and never been in my house. It is true that I have a green curtain hanged on at that time. But whatever he says I still like green.
I grew up in the province. I will never forget the times when I used to play on the wide green grass in between the rice fields and a hills. A place which is very natural not nurtured , beautifies or not modeled and where electricity was not existent, food was grown locally transport and by the good old foot power and by cows and carabao's. These time electricity is fully supplied even to the remote areas and automobile transportation is always available. But still green surrounding is there around. I really missed that green place.
In one magazine says that green is the answer of global warming. But what can we do if that green turned to black or brown already? I am pretty sure that we can still make it green if everybody will cooperate.

Responsible Tenant

I set this day to go to Sta Cruz Manila and no more time of postponing. Our contract with the tenant of my one door apartment will be over on July 18, 2008 . I should have to talk with the couple personally to let them know that I will increase the rent to P8,000 from P7,000. I really like this couple as the tenant of my apartment. They are nice one family and they took care of the house as like their own. They never gave me a problem and always deposited their rental promptly in my account throughout the whole four years of renting the apartment. How I wish that they accept the increase and renew again the contract. For them the rental fee is fair enough because it is nearby the universities and the rents there is higher. To be fair with them, I gave them already a big discount because they are really a responsible tenant comparing to the previous tenant that I had before.

baby things

People of science says that one of the features that make us different and ranks as higher than the other animals, aside from our high capacity to think, is our capacity to love and feel different emotions. This is especially evident in the bond of the mother and her child and how the mother would willingly give her child everything just to make sure that he or she grows up well. And this is always true even if the mother would sacrifice great things just so she can do this. Well, good thing there’s already someone to help her give her child the bet things. Provide him/her the most special things that he/she needs. It will be very simple, in a world where every thing can already be ordered online.
The moment you go to their page, you’ll automatically see that the website is complete with all the things that a parent would want his or her baby to have. From the beautifully made baby cribs, travel cots, push chairs, high chairs, furnitures, nightlights, car accessories and other baby items, you’ll see that they really are the authority when it comes to these things. And the best thing about them is that they are not only offering high quality baby items but also affordable ones. They cater to different baby things that you need. Plus, you can see the most affordable baby things that will truly fit the needs of your baby. Certainly, mother knows best in terms of their child. So why not give the best for your child and enjoy the happiness and convenience it is about to give to you and for your baby. You can find variety of designs and style that positively your babies will love.

Very High Price

Today, Liquefied Petroleum Gas increase again to P1.50 per kilo. Yesterday, I ordered rice for my store. I know you are aware of it now, I could not really imagine, It's P1900.00 per sack now for the suprime sinandoming. It was only p1100.00 early this year. Same with the LPG, and other every day needs. I am really worried , what will happen to the next generation. Bur I guess not only the next generation will be suffer because we don't know after tomorrow or after one month, two months, maybe rice will double its price and other commodities goes up again . How can we afford this very high prices with that mostly earning is decreasing instead of increasing. Last Saturday, there was a long queue in our community for NFA rice, they told me that it was P25.00 per kilo. Ohhhh.. again I'm wondering ....from P18.00 to P25.00 per kilo. Mabilis na rin ang taas, grabe!

Debt

It is disheartening to see someone close to you drown in debt. More often than not, they thought they could easily get out of it. This same situation happened to a family friend who five years ago bought a home with one of those no money down mortgage deals. And at the same time they have up to neck in credit card debts. Well. i could say that this is not good decision. No lending company leave an unfaithful costumer , they will get back the home if you can not pay them or settle them. For these cases the Debt Consolidation through Bills was the solution. Declaring bankruptcy was never an option because they had a home and they didn’t want to lose it. Because of this move: debt consolidation, they were able to lower the monthly payments on their large credit card debts and cut their interest rates and concentrated on raising money for their monthly mortgage.

As any bad financial decision as you would expect, they eventually gave up the house two years later, as the monthly mortgage was just too much for them to handle. Besides the fact that it was a zero down deal, we later learned it was also one of those adjustable rate, interest only mortgage.

Lesson of their story? Don’t bite more than you can chew. Live within your means and weigh in every decision that you make especially when it comes to financial commitments. Taking out a mortgage that they cannot afford was the biggest blunder of all. Add to that the fact, that they already had a huge amount of credit card debt before they even got a mortgage. You needDebthelp Living responsibly means living within ones means.
